i didnt notice any expanded class guides out yet.. so maybe ill start. Anyone that wants to add in some information is welcome to within this thread.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Expanded Classes are newly implemented playable characters. The Job Tree is Novice--->TaeKwon Boy/Girl----->Star Gladiator(2-1) or Soul Linker(2-2).

The first step to begin building your expanded class character is the get your Novice to Job Level 10. Furthermore, any Taekwon Boy/Girl, regardless of becoming Star Gladiator or Soul Linker.. REQUIRES STRENGTH to level. You won't go very far without a substantial amount of strength as a TaeKwon. Obviously... if your're planning on going to soul linker.. i would b a str/agi/dex build as a taekwon and just reset before you job change to a soul linker.

Generally speaking, about 60 base strength will generate about 176 dmg to a poison spore without elemental influences or buffs.

JOB CHANGE

Now... when your Novice becomes job level 10, teleport to payon. From the teleporter in payon, go to your right. The NPC you are looking for is called Moo Hyun?? something like that.. he shrugs his arms all the time, and he has blue hair, wears a black vest.

Talk to Moo, he will direct you to a npc called Phoenix

Notice the coordinates (160, 140)

Talk to Phoenix, he will make you gain 1 base level. Do that and return to him. Answer a few questions, and now you will be changed into a TaeKwon Boy/Girl.

HOW TO LEVEL TK BOYS/GIRLS

Job Change into TK

12-15 Pyramid Level 1

15-20 Payon Caves Level 1

20-40 Geffen Dungeon 1 [Poison Spores]

40-50 Lighthaltzen Field [1 north from Lighthaltzen, kill Metalings]

50-55 Payon Caves level 3 [Munaks, Bon Guns]

55-60 Payon Caves level 4 [Sohees]

60-65 Pyramid level 3 [Mummies, Matyrs, Verits, and Drainliars]

HOW TO CHANGE INTO STAR GLADIATOR[MORE INFORMATION BELOW]

To become a star gladiator, go back to Moo Hyun.

HOW TO CHANGE INTO A SOUL LINKER

1)go to morroc

Find this building. Coordinates, (57, 260)
Enter the building

You should end up in this room.

Go to the room to the right.

You will end up here.

There should be a NPC called Kid here. Talk to it. It will ask you to collect three items: ONE 3carat diamond, 1 witherless rose, and 1 immortal heart.

Collect these items. Bring it back to Kid, and talk to the spirits he sends u to. There... you are now a soul linker.

A notice about soul linkers:

-if you became a soul linker to pvp... good luck.. they will not be able to kill other players... the offensive spells esma and those things DO NOT AFFECT PLAYERS.

-soul linkers are good for mvp killing so long as their is a tank with their esma skill, also if you are teamed with certain classes, then the spirit link skills will help a lot depending on what class ur mvp team is comprised of

-mild wind also influences the damage generated from esma

- dex does not affect the cast rate of Es skills such as esma in actual RO, however people have tested it in RF and say dex does affect cast speed

HOW TO BECOME A STAR GLADIATOR

To become a star gladiator, u must be at least job level 40 as a TaeKwon boy/girl. When you are ready, go talk to Moo Hyun (his location has already been discussed in this thread). He will send a letter of reference to Master Moo Kang. Now.. you must find Moo Kang. BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

-BRING 1 ROUGH WIND, 1 STAR CRUMB, 1 STAR DUST, 1 GREATEST NATURE(i think thats what its called.. its the Earth elemental stone), 1 FLAME HEART, AND 1 MYSTICAL FROZEN.
-for new comers, the best way to get these items is to buy them

ok when u have these items, follow my screenshots to find moo kang, notice my location on the map located on the top right area of your computer screen.

walk up the steps

i dont know about u.. but it took me awhile to figure out u could walk up those steps >.<

Now keep walking around the hill, eventualyl u will see this:

If you brought the items i listed in this guide, he will bring you to the Room of the Sun:

You will notice that the NPCs in these rooms are all like preachers.... Anyway, talk to the NPC in the Room of the Sun. Eventually, he will ask you to feel the warmth of the sun.... Now.. this part confused me. What I did was sat on the farthest north I could of the room, and took all my equipment off. Then, I waited for five minutes... Now i have no idea which action allowed me to proceed but anyway, after all that talk to the NPC again. He will now send you to the Room of the Moon.

Now, talk to preacher NPC #2... Eventually he will say you need to learn more about the Moon. He will send you back to Payon. Go talk to Moo Hyun again. After Moo Hyun's preaching, go back to Comodo. Go back to Master Moo Kang and talk to him again. He will send you back to the Room of the Moon. Now talk to the Npc again. He will send you to the Room of the Stars.

Okay, talk to the npc here. She will start preaching once again.... eventually she will ask you to find the glittering stars. Just sit in the front of the room and count the stars for a while... then talk to her again. She will now ask you for 1 star dust and 1 star crumb. If you didn't bring these items already, go get them and bring them back to her. Now, give them to her, and she will preach some more and then bring you back to payon....

Finally!! go back to Comodo, and talk to Master Moo Kang again. There, you are now a Star Gladiator. Give yourself a pat on the back, but this is only the beginning......:

A few notes on Star Gladiators:

-training a star gladiator is no walk in the park. The amount of job experience points they need to level is ridiculous. A few numbers to show u... my star gladiator.. gained 16% base exp at level 54, however.. he is STILL level 1 job.

-because of the slow job leveling, choosing which skills to get first is quite a mind breaker, i would avoid getting all that sun, moon, star crap until later, as you would only designate areas for these skills that u will stay in long term to level. At your level in the game when u switch you won't need to care about those things right away.

-the skill devil of the sun, moon, and stars grants you 30% ASPD bonus at level 10 (WOOHOO), HOWEVER, the moment you put 1 level into this skill gives your screen a good blackout. It will give you the PERMANENT effect of being blind, however, your stats are not affected, it is merely an annoying screen alternation. Due to the aspect that 1 level will give you the blind effect, I would save up 10 skill points and put them all in that skill at once IF YOU'RE GOING FOR THIS SKILL. This skill is good for AGI builds, and I could see it working very well for VIT builds as well, however, if you're planning on doing some pvp... this skill really puts you at a disadvantage.

-As I said before, the skills about the sun, moon, and star crap you should really think it through very thorougly before choosing a place for these skills. Once you choose, you will not be able to change the location. So you should most likely choose areas that you will be going to train LONG TERM.

-Star Gladiators can equip books!(WOOHOO more dmg). Because Star Gladiators have the skill Mild Wind, they can already get elemental dmg. By using slotted books, and slotting them with cards such as Drainliar cards(20% more damage to water based monsters.. i think), this will increase your damage to water monsters. Water monsters are already weak against the Wind element, by using Mild Wind at level 2(wind propriety), and using a book with drainliar cards slotted in them, this will provide some massive damage.

-the effiency of using books:

books will increase your overall damage, however, it will slow your ASPD down. you must decide what you want. Do you want weaker hits but faster delivery? or stronger but slower?

for vit builds... this is a no brainer.. of course you would use books because the main source of your damage is from kick skills anyway. By elemental stacking with books, the most of your kick will be brought out by maximizing damage. btw. a vit build with +30% ASPD... /gg Smile

EDIT:ok.. so lots of ppl have pmed me about what kinda damage soul linkers can do so ill just post a screenie of my own soul linker using esma. Notice that he is only level 63, his INT is not yet maxed, and he using esma at level 10 with Mild Wind set to Fire element, and the monster is weak against fire.

TAEKWON MISSION

EDIT:There has been a question directed to me about TaeKwon Mission. TaeKwon Mission is a skill where once you use it, the name of a certain monster will appear. You must kill 100 of these monsters to earn 1 point. The function of this point is to determine who is the top TaeKwon. For instance, if out of all of RF, a TaeKwon has completed TaeKwon Mission 800 times, they earn 800 points. The amount of acumulated points is the determing factor on what rank that TaeKwon receives. Using my previous example, hypothetically, if that TaeKwon with 800 points was the highest ranking TaeKwon with respect to his points, he/she is ranked #1. There are bonuses to being within the top 10 TKs in the server. These bonuses are the following: 3x hp, 3x sp, and the ability to use the kick skills at will, meaning the use of the prepare stance skills are not required to use the kick skills. However, it should be duly noted that if you lose your TK ranker status because another TK in the server surpassed you in points, you will lose these bonuses. Also, if you change into a Star Gladiator or Soul Linker, you will also lose these bonuses. Last time i checked.. I believe the points were in the 70s???

WHERE TO LEVEL SOUL LINKERS

EDIT: heres my tiny leveling guide for soul linkers ^ ^

1-12 Anything outside Prontera, Juno, Izlude, etc

Job Change into TK

12-20 Payon Caves 1

20-40 Geffen Dungeon 1 [Poison Spores]

40-50 Lighthaltzen Field [1 north from Lighthaltzen, kill Metalings]

50-55 Payon Caves level 3 [Munaks, Bon Guns]

55-60 Payon Caves level 4 [Sohees]

60-65 Pyramid level 3 [Mummies, Matyrs, Verits, and Drainliars]

Change Into Soul Linker

65 [Put on a high attack Gladius or what not and hit poison spores, metalings, etc for job levels until you get at least level 7 esma]

65-80 Louyang Field 01 [kills everything there, mainly soils with esma. Level esma to level 10]

80+ MANY different zones so I will just list the main monsters instead, and the map names when it is convenient. Basically, wherever a Sage bolter can go.. so can you.

-Sea Otters
-Isis
-Dragon Tails
-Magma Dungeon
-Thanatos with group
-Rachel Sanctuary
-Byaland 5
-Ice Caves
-Hill Winds
-Dark Frames
-GHC, GHP, GH Castle

For your pictures, just simply put [img]PictureURL[/img]. What you're missing is the [/img] from the end of your link. But nice guide, I didn't have time to add expanded classes on mine Smile

Nice guide. I'll move it to the guides section but you might want to consider changing the title so that it says something about TK/soul linkers.

You really don't have to talk to Moo first before talking to Phoenix.

You MAY wanna post the skill tree and descriptions as a "Guide" normally would.

sprint is a godly skil... ask any perma tk or taekwon master
+10 str is alota damage

and poison spores give as much exp as orc zombie except poison spores are alot less hp even tho u can deal 1.75x damage 2 zombies still poison spores are easier n hit lower too.
a good alternative if u have good equips is to kill soils outside of louyang

About Shadow (Demon of the sun moon and stars), the amount of blindness depends on your skill level. So saving up all 10 won't make a difference, level 1 is only a black fuzz around the outtermost part of your screen.

What can Soul Linkers equip? And what should my stats look like if I want it to be pure supportive Soul Linkers [good for PvPing/WoE/Partying]? And my skills. Thanks.
