How about crediting work from non-Xenophase users?
|
if you're talking about people who edited the work but don't have an account registered, then they should've registered an account first.
|
I think he means, what if someone copies basically wholesale from a site online... how would credit be given? Like the standard wikipedia footnotes and citations? Or must
all work be original?

More specifically, say, if I find a very well-written portion of a guide located elsewhere online, written by a non-Xenophase user - what is the crediting policy for a case
such as that?

To rewrite the article into your own words.

isn't that an obvious one guys? the Xeno Wiki is a new system that should be unique, therefore, write your own things up...find another way
to cope with the crediting of other websites.

Unless you haven't noticed, Wiki is modeled after Wikipedia. Any user can edit it unless the Admin decides to LOCK up the topic (In that case, people won't be able to add or
edit).

That sort of defeats the purpose of a Wiki.

This is extremely confusing...making a freakin table is taking me more than an hour, and it doesn't help when the headings aren't right.
Are there any easier ways to construct a table or such? I already have it drawn up in Photoshop.

Guides on these forums are property of Xenophase after submission. Changing from first, to third person is good enough.

The reason why you edited it. Like "Corrected typos" "Added extra info" etc..
