Introduction

TetriNET is a multiplayer online Tetris game. TetriNET game play is like Tetris, with the addition of special blocks. After clearing rows, special blocks (sometimes called "specs" or "cookies") can appear in the player's field. When a row with special blocks in it is cleared, it is put in that player's inventory, and the player can use it on another player, or on himself. Special blocks have a variety of different effects, there are 9 types in TetriNET 1. A game with special blocks disabled is called a "pure" game.
