Rogue Types

Dagger Rogues

Dagger rogues rely on the Thief skill Double Attack for the bulk of their damage. Dagger builds typically have little dexterity (usually 40 or 50), and focus on agility until the 80s and up.

Bow Rogues

Bow rogues are primarily a PvP class, and rely on their high dexterity to quickly strip opponents. While bow rogues have lower damage than a hunter (due to the lack of Improve Concentration), an enemy without equipment dies without much trouble. The biggest downside to a bow rogue is that Back Stab damage is halved with a bow. Bow builds are typically high in dexterity and agility.

Class Features

Strip Skills

Stripping is one of the sub build a rogue can get. With the ability to strip equipment, they can render almost anyone defenseless. The strip chance is determined by the rogue's dex and the target's dex.

Intimidate

Intimidate allows a rogue to copy any attack skill cast on it. Many skills require class-specific equipment, so rogues can't cast any skills for which they cannot wear the equipment.

Other Rogue Skills

Backstab: The rogue's most powerful skill (other than copied skills). Does 700% of normal damage to the target's back (must be cast from behind the target). This skill will always hit unless blocked by a skill such as Guard or Safety Wall. The attack turns the target to face the caster to limit the speed at which it can be cast. Can be cast from the Hiding state.

Sightless Mind: A small 3x3 splash attack. Can only be cast while Hiding is active, and has a chance to stun and blind targets.

Mug: Steal zeny from a monster. The success chance is calculated based on player and monster dexterity, while the amount of money stolen is based on the monster's level.

Scribble: Allows a rogue to draw on the ground using a red gemstone.

Slyness: When two rogues with this skill sit together, aggressive monsters will not attack either rogue. Does not work with insect, demon and boss monsters
