Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of realtime Internet chat. It is mainly designed for group (many-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows
one-to-one communication via private message. Xenophase features a few IRC channels for our various services, you can access IRC either via our web client or a standard IRC client

Rules and Regulations
Before entering IRC, please understand a few rules and regulations that will help you, and other users enjoy your experience:
- Please ask your question and be polite and patient, we are not always at our computer so we will respond to you as soon as we can.
- Respect everyone in the channel and abide by the Terms of Service in official Xenophase channels.
- Abide by the Acceptable Use Policy for our host IRC network, Striked.

- Joining a Channel
You can join other channels by typing /join #<channel name>
- Official IRC Channels
We have a number of IRC channels available for Xenophase users, where a variety of topics are discussed.
#xenophase - General ChatDo not hesitate to create an IRC channel for a subject on IRC, creating and registering an IRC channel on IRC is free, and easy.
- Register your Nickname on IRC
You are able to "register" the nickname you use on the Striked IRC network by typing, /nickserv register <password> <email>, your nickname will be held by Nickname
registration services for 90 days prior to your last login to IRC. For more information about IRC services available on Striked visit the Striked Services website.
- Joining the server with an IRC client
You can join in with Xenophase IRC discussion using a regular IRC client by connecting to Striked at irc.striked.org, and
joining one of the official Xenophase channels.
