How to Arrange Setup Window
This is shown with a basic Direct3D accelleration compliant graphics card. If it is shown as blank, it might be caused by a non-compliant graphics card. . You can choose either option-No sound, 2D sound, or 3D sound. Ragnarok BGM is made using MP3 technology. So when you set up you'd better consider your sound card and CPU capacity. In case of a less than 500Mhz CPU, Ragnarok will run safely with 'no sound' only. This is the option for Sound settings. You can adjust it for lower sound quality for cards that are not powerful enough. You can use this to fix a certain crashing problem which is caused by the Voodoo series of video cards. When you use a graphic card such as i740, i810, or ATI series cards, the ground graphics may show as blank or broken. In this case, set this to unchecked and you can display the screen normally.
You can check the details of each menu by moving your cursor around on the picture to the left.

Let's Start!

When you Successfully log in to the server, You can see 15 empty slots for characters.
Choose one empty slot to make a character. In the `Make' section, you can arrange the beginning status of your character however you want. The details of each status are the following:

STR(Strength)

Increase attack strength and the maximum weight which you can carry.

AGI(Agility)

 Increase dodge and attack speed.

VIT(Vitality)

Increase defense rate, hit points, and HP recovery speed.

INT(Intelligence)

DEX(Dexterity)

LUK(Luck)

When the present weight is at or over 50% of the maximum weight, It will be shown in Red colour. From that moment, It is impossible to regenerate HP/SP naturally. Or when the present weight is at or over 90%, it will become impossible to attack any monsters or use any non-novice skills.
You'd better store the surplus items in Kapra's warehouse if you don't want to be killed by Monsters without even one single counteraction.

For reference, the Basic Information Window is never wiped out, and always remains as a small window.
